Welcome Function

Venue: Sebel Hotel (refer signage for directions)
Cost: Included in full registration fee. Not included in day registration or package fee. Additional tickets can be purchased for AU$45.00 per person.
Dress: Smart casual
Kick start your conference experience at the Welcome Function: a great opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues and start making new acquaintances. Substantial finger food will be served, however for delegates wanting a sit down meal, Melbourne offers a wide range of dining experiences. Refer to information in your conference satchel. Alternatively, the Sebel's Concierge or Reception staff has a wealth of "local" knowledge and are sure to know just the place.
 

Conference Dinner

Date: Tuesday 3 May 2011
Time: 7:00pm - 11:00pm
Venue: Olympic Room, Melbourne Cricket Ground
Cost: Included in full registration fee. Not included in day registration or package fee. Additional tickets can be purchased for AU$120.00 per person (AU$90 full-time Student).
Dress: Evening informal
Transport: Delegates will be transported between the conference venue and MCG. Further detail will be provided at the conference.
The Angus Society of Australia - Certified Australian Angus Beef Dinner
Tonight's venue is the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The MCG, known colloquially as the "G", Australia's favourite stadium is the birthplace of test cricket and the home of Australian football. The "G" holds more than 80 events annually and attracts close to four million people.
 

Informal Night

After conferencing today, delegates have free time to explore Melbourne’s vibrant restaurant and entertainment precincts, have a quick meal and an early night, or make plans to catch up informally with friends and colleagues.
